Snow Angel
As the clouds part the snow hits the ground,
His little eyes open, his voice makes a sound.
My little snow angel so soft,so sweet.
A tear so gentle it falls down my cheek.
I cried so hard when I found out the news.
A little baby boy was born with the blues.
He wanted his mom,he wanted her near.
All he knew is soon she'll be here.
She stayed by his side day after day,
A light so pure began drifting away.
He gripped her finger and never let go.
He heard a voice and began to glow.
A smile spread upon his cheeks.
Our little snow angel up to heaven he seeks.
Modern Day Sleeping Beauty
she lays there silent and still.
can she hear my cries,my pleas?
night after night now i have been left to think.
this modern day sleeping beauty.
when will your smile grace the stage?
come back now and put on a show.
we're all here waiting.

all worried,sick to the bone,self medication is our new home.
trying to numb the wound feel no pain.
no matter how much we run the fear gets closer.

I dont know how much more hope we have left.

The second is good also, but doesn't flow nearly so well as the first. My favorite lines were "sick to the bone,self medication is our new home".
