so yesterday in class, i almost decked a girl. now, i am not a violent person, in fact, i've never been in a fight in my life, never a single punch thrown except for those in my juijitsu class.
but this girl has been pissing me off since day one. it's a class on advertising and consumerism, tought by a good friend of mine who requested that i take the class, hoping for my rather liberal vocalness in classes, which i am more than happy to lend.
anyway, i'm in this class, and we were talking about reganomics, and a friend of mine in the class brought up the fact that since his death, all you hear is all of this insanely positive shit about reagan.
and the girl that i hate says:
"well, you can't make fun of someone who just died"
me: "Sure you can, i started making jokes the moment i foudn out!"
bitch: "THAT is why you're part of the PROBLEM."
she's lucky i don't want to hurt people. because i seriously almost threw a desk at her. exactly what problem? my urge to use my FUCKING RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH?!
this afternoon, i went to talk to Bjorn (the prof) about some miscellaneous shit and to turn in a paper, and mentioned what had happend, because he didn't hear her say it, and i not so many words he told me that he wished i HAD done it.
and then told me he wasn't going to count my paper as late.
god it's awesome when the prof is your friend.
