Happy Thursday.
Not too much to report today. I'll be expecting waiting hoping blah blah all day today. I hope I don't get any calls from any phone numbers I don't recognize today.

I had a fun two hours of driving yesterday and a yummy starbucks drink.
I like starbucks.

I love Zach Galifianakis. I don't think he's appreciated enough. I've seen him in Tru Calling, Boston Common, The Sarah Silverman Show, and in his best work "Out Cold". I've also heard some audio of his stand up. He's a funny goofy guy. I have a place in my heart for funny goofy guys. biggrin

I'm planning a short road trip for myself, by myself, in August.
I'm gonna follow the band Coalesce as they make their way down the northern part of the east coast. They'll be touring with Daughters and See You Next Tuesday.

Here are the dates:
8/15/07 The Palladium Upstairs, Worcester, MA

8/16/07 First Unitarian Church, Philadelphia, PA

8/17/07 Knitting Factory, NYC, NY

8/18/07 Otto...

Dude, I never thought I could get over him walking out of Clerks 2. That was pretty retarded but now that he's gone I feel bad about being mad at him.

Seriously though. You really gotta stop telling us about all these cool people who are dying. Bummer. frown

Amy Adams is HOT. I've had a girl crush on her since Cruel Intentions 2...LOL. Oh and she was good in Smallville {{Starts to day dream about Tom Welling}}!

so I guess if you're the praying type, it's a good time to pray for me. I feel like I've used up all of mine.

I just got tested for a barrage of diseases, the scariest one being HIV.
My doctor sent me to do it, since I'd at one point been involved in a lot of risky behaviour.

so here I am. the wait...

Hey, I know I acknowledged here that I read and loved Mr. Chabon's "The amazing adventures of Kavalier and Clay" but I did not do justice to such a wonderful book. I think that is one of the best books I have ever read! I loved tales that deal with friendship that does not include the characters having romantic love at one time or another (that is why I also love movies and books like "About a boy", "the fortress of solitude", "Ghost world", "Jerry Maguire", "My girl", etc.), but I also loved the way it dealt with the themes of the book: Nazism and antisemitism, the beginning of the comic book as an artistic medium, censorship, growing up, dealing with your sexuality, etc. I figure you might loved this book too! smile

PS by the way, I read in Elizagirl's journal that she is reading Mr. Chabon's masterpice this week...

PS Did you read "Wonderboys"? I LOVED IT!!!
