Actually, the new Atmosphere disc is sad as FUCK.

I mean, the whole thing is about life handing you lemons.

That doesn't mean I don't love it. But when the songs are written from the POV of abused whores or homeless people...

I wondered when it would get happy and upbeat again, and it didn't.
There's a lot of piano on it. it's less Kanye West-y than the last one.
And I'm glad for that. I just wanted some bangers.

I'm at a bookstore for an author event. Jack O'Connell, author of The Resurrectionist is here, at the Elliott Bay bookshop. He's speaking tonight. And there's no one here.

The Resurrectionist was the last book that Hillary recommended to me before the break-up. I think the only reason I have a copy is because I packed her copy up with my shit as I was leaving.
