Arthur nudged and headbutted my drool-encrusted face at 6:55 this morning so that I could feed him. I've been up since.
I've since
a. beat off
b. read like 20 pages of a book
c. had two glasses of orange juice, a mug of cereal, and two turkey/cheese/honey mustard quesadillas.
I looked at the time my grocery store opens on sunday (7am) and the time my gym opens on sunday (8am) but I have done nothing about that. It is 9:35 now.
I need to read more.
Yesterday I was wrong about the movie times. I checked again and the movies started at 11:45am so I dragged Hillary out of bed, took her to breakfast, and we went to see the Darjeeling Limited. We then snuck into Rendition, a movie I saw entirely because of this quote:
"Rendition is perfect." - Roger Ebert
It ruled. It really did. It's what some people will call a "liberal message movie" but those people can blow me. It ruled and it's certainly not a conservative movie but they do place the blame for extraordinary rendition squarely on Clinton's shoulders.
Anyway, whatever.
Darjeeling is the worst of Anderson's movies, but it's not a bad movie at all.
And hopefully you'll get Hotel Chevalier before your viewing because it certainly made the whole thing a lot better.
The plan today is Lars and the real Girl at 11:50am and sneak into The Kingdom at 1:45. That's the plan. But Lars might not be long enough.
I don't know.
There's no sex and no smoking right now so there should at least be MOVIES!
And Natalie Portman is the new goddess of love.
She's like that girl in Godard's Breathless. Fucking marry me.
