The new Akron/Family disc is just.. wow.
As it stands it's way up high on the 2007 top ten. Shit's making me happy.
I'm staying home again today. I'm staying away from the computer as best as I can today.
I'm also doing laundry and cleaning up. Here's how it went:
I'm lying in bed watching the extras disc of The Shield season 5. Hillary comes in and lies down on top of me, even though I'm sick, even though I'm laying in bed, surrounded by used kleenex. She's lying on top of me and I say
"I can tell you want to cry. take off your glasses and have at it."
She takes them off and before i know it she's sobbing at my chest.
She's overworked. Yeah, she was promoted to manager and that means a big raise but they never hired a book buyer, her last position. So she's doing both. And both are full time positions.
This was about 7pm that she came home from work. She made us soup and sandwiches and got back to work from our computer, doing her employees' schedules.
I finished my dinner and passed out. Next thing I knew it was 11 and she was waking me up, telling me I'd be more comfortable on the futon or the bed. She had just finished up.
So I'll do what I can today. I just finished the dishes and the first load is in the washing machine. I hope I haven't ruined anything. I have to do the kitty litters, which are exceptionally gross. and I have to sleep.
I feel like death.

that journal restores some of my faith in you my lovely. I really hope you start feeling better. maybe someday soon I will have two seconds to myself to call some of my friends. I will of course call you back at that moment.
