Thanks to Jason Starr and Ken Bruen for getting me reading again.
It'd been 2-3 weeks and it was beginning to bother me.
Bruen and Starr have concocted a wild, remarkably vulgar, and very funny ode to mindless violence, drugs, down-and-dirty sex, and self-delusion. Most of the violence comes courtesy of the title character.
Slide is actually the first book that I got from the Hard Case Crime Book Club.
I love this shit right now.
I'm wearing teeny tiny underwear my woman seems to like.
Back to work tomorrow, I guess.
