wooooooooooo
yesterday was a shit day!
My shrink was like MAN YOU LOOK FUCKED UP
though not in so many words.
This morning I had half of a cup of cereal before realizing that the milk was rotten.
I'm excited just waiting for the brown diarrheal onslaught of doom. It'll be like listening to Khanate.
Whatevers, bro.
My friend Martha became a highschool english teacher this week and while she is a super-smart woman, her favorite ways to end sentences are either by saying
a) ...bro
b) ...and shit
she also peppers her sentences with the word 'like' a lot.
So I can picture all these kids saying
"We read Faulkner and like Fitzgerald and shit, bro"
"Proust is fucking crazy and shit"
I'm pretty excited about that prospect.
She told me that she read some passage to her students and one of them said "that's emo, bro." Emo.
I've never read any Faulkner. Someone point me in the right direction. But not yet. I'm still in easy reading post-Dunces mode. On Merritt's and LesMels's recommendation I took Catch 22 with me on my trip. I started reading it on the plane and was immediately intimidated. Like oh, fuck. This author knows his fucking language. So while I did move it up on the queue, I'm not into a big project like that. A book that will take me more than a week/week and a half to read.
I'm still on easy reading mode.
Gimme some basic fun genre bullshit that I can read on the toilet and absorb/forget right away.
This morning I was listening to a review of Superbad, and the critics kept talking shit on the cops, Seth Rogen and Bill Hader. Fuck the critics. Rogen and Hader fucking ruled that shit.
I've got nothing today.
I miss my parents.
I need more sleep.

Our network connection was slow at work today, so I couldn't download any of that shit. Are those links persistent, or do they expire?
