I hope all my American friends have a nice day off with BBQs and all that and I hope all my Canadian friends have a nice day off because we control most of the world's businesses, and we're taking the day off.
Last night I finished the book Gun Monkeys,
which, like all my other books lately, fell apart. BUT I'VE FIGURED IT OUT. THEY FALL APART BECAUSE I LEAVE THEM IN MY CAR ALL DAY and read them in my car while smoking cigarettes without giving them the opportunity to cool off. the glue comes apart in the fucking 345689700 degree Miami weather.
That doesn't mean, however, that I'll stop reading them in my car. It's my favorite work-break past time.
So here's my plan-- at work I have a hot plate that I use to boil oil samples. I'm gonna turn the heat up and put the books on their side on there for a few seconds and see if the book glue melts back together! I'm super excited to try this shit out.
Anyway, It was a good book. lots of death. Guns. Fun. Torture. Miami mobsters. I'm in.
The 4th of July sucks. No comic books till Thursday, and my netflixes, the season finale of the Shield Season 2 and Knife in the Water, will ship a day late. At this rate I may not get them till Friday.
