Uh oh...... did somebody's smit get smote? Have you accidentally overdosed on Sugar Free Rock Star? Did the room mate turn back up on your door step? Whazzup?
OK, universe... no dirty tricks. Don't yank the rug out from under me on this one... not this time. Let me have this one. I am still in an elevated state of smit.
We got takeout and watched "Annie Hall" and followed it with "Mallrats"... during the break in between the movies, she played with Maggie.
Maggie was good for her.
Maggie isn't good for... Read More
Send me good vibes and stuff... I'm gonna need it.
I'm smitten...
I'm a smitten kitten...
I'm full of smit.
The question arises, can Uncle Galaxy maintain his cool long enough to not be deemed a total dork? Can he make it to the lightning round? Will this woman see the diamond in the rough? He's not punching his weight here... he's a... Read More
If this site gobbles up one more blog entry in the process of posting it, I'm marching down to SGHQ and choking the living shit out of the first web geek I find...
The dog (usually known as Maggie, sometimes... "The Dingus") is doing infinitely better. She's acting like herself again and she finally ate something last night. No signs of her losing her lunch from either end in the near future. To those who commented, thank you for your concern.
The Dingus chewed up a bottle of Advil Friday night while I was at work.... Read More
I'm glad Maggie's OK. I need to tell you the story of how a dumbass vet had my friend believing her cat had kidney failure when, in fact, the cat was in perfect health.
Dude, I was this short of ending my post with the following line:
"The moral of this story, if there is one, is that getting drunk may actually save your life"
I think I'm way too skeptical because like I said, we got change in 2000 after 67 years of the same party doing continuous damage and there was(still is) major disappointment. I do not wish the same to happen in the US but people are celebrating like Voldemort just got snuffed and we're all going to live the good life automatically... And... well, no.
Well... there it went. Lost in the ether. I had a great post going on today's historic event, but the gods of the interwebs apparently felt that it would be best kept a secret. I guess I don't blame them. They probably saved me from myself. Supporters of both candidates would probably flame me for it...
The gist of it boils down to this: I'm... Read More
Getting that first date is tough enough... not fucking up and acting like a complete goober for the duration of dinner is damn near impossible.
When I detach a bit and watch myself in action, I wonder how on earth I made it so far as to be in two fairly long and involved relationships over the years...
Hahaha oh, man! Why what happened?! What did you do?! My ex housemate has decided he wants to date my new housemate Gaz..only trouble is G is straight and has a girlfriend. That's not stopping my guy though...at 2 this afternoon he was in sufficient mashup to send me asking him if 'he'd like to come over so i can spray him with whipped cream and bounce up and down on his cock while slapping his chest.' I said no, standards. That boy is out of control! Was it that bad? If not, pat on back!
The Charlie's the ex, the new crush , the cokie who's missus is my ex enemy is Sam. Which one? I mean ,probably both is sensible! x
Ahhhhhhhh, yes...
Time, once again, to dink with the SG layout/navigation.. I was beginning to think they'd make it to the new year without futzing around with it. Silly f'n me.
Having been around since 2005, I've endured at least half a dozen format changes and I'm always pissed at the get go. However, I always seem to adapt so I'm hoping that trend will continue. I don't do Facebook but it seems like SG is chasing that type of format based on comments I've read. I had a Facebook page for about 2 weeks and it was so insipid that I closed it up and left for good. Just a bunch of grown ups throwing things at one another and sending each other stupid surveys about movies and shit. If I'm going to spend time with people on line, I'd much prefer something a little more stimulating. Yup, I'm pretty much an SG lifer so I think I'll just wait it out and get used to the new "features". Frustrating, but inevitable.
This may turn into a 2 (or more) part blog. It all depends on how energetic I feel once I get going. It's been a long week and a busy weekend. I'm ready to crash and burn. But not before I give you a bit of an update... it's been too long.
Ahh, Portland weather, indeed. I was out at drum corp practice tonight and was realizing that, were it not for the physicality of playing, I'd probably be freezing my keyster off! The sunsets have been beautiful but it's kind of a bummer waking up without much daylight. Two hundred gray days....... *sigh* I'm not sure I'm ready.
