Got tired of my flat, cardboard thin keyboard that came with my outdated piece of junk computer so I bought one of those fancy, curvy, slick ones tonite. Doesn't make those loud, annoying TAPP TAP TAPPITY TAP TAP sounds anymore.
I'm endlessly tuning my Zuma 125 scooter so I went and picked up some new roller weights for the transmisson variator today. Some nice 9g Dr Pulley slider weights. I'll most likely be installing them after work with hopes that they help bring my top end back up to 65 mph again.
Works been nice and busy and filled with nice colorful people. Actually i've even had a nice run of people that actually TIP.
On a bad note, way bad actually, my friend Joi is in the hospital due to her boyfriend/father of her kid randomly lost his mind and decided that it would be a great idea to beat the hell out of her with a golf club while she was sleeping. Yea. They live(d) with my ex and from what she said she was awoken by the sound of her screaming. When she went to investigate she saw him standing over her in their room then he slammed the door on her then she called the fuzz. Poor girl suffered 7 facial fractures, 2 broken arms, broken ribs, lost teeth and she's now blind in one eye. They had to airlift her to an out of town hospital that's about 45 minutes away. The asshole is in jail without bond.
There's no understanding this situation either. They weren't a couple that fought. They had a kid together and were about to move out of my ex's and into there own place. Then randomly out of nowhere he did this. I'm so utterly pissed off. If I were in my ex's shoes I would have killed that fucking bastard on the spot using any means possible and without ANY mercy. If I ever see that waste of sperm and egg again he's completely fucked.
The ex is going to call Joi's mother tomorrow and find out if Joi can have visitors yet. We're hopefully riding to Gainesville on Wednesday to see her. I know i'm going to become even more enraged and start crying my eyes out when I see her but I want to be there for her and let her know, which i'm sure she already does, that her friends are here for her.
