So, sorry I'm such a flake, and disappear for intervals. I get wrapped up in life, and forget to be social.
So! Life feels pretty exciting right now. I'm taking more teacher training at the end of the month (I'm a violin instructor, so more credentials is always yay.) One of my places of employment is already giving me a 2 dollar raise, because I'm bettering myself, and people were really happy with me this year.
If people remember me posting about a possible surgery a while ago, surgery is a go, and not only that, but it'll be on Aug. 17, so not far away! I'm going in on July 16th to ask more questions and do one last sizing (augmentation surgery, because woo, boobs).
And lastly, I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas in October. I've never done any real traveling before, so this is mega exciting. And my port city is New York (!) so I decided to fly down early, and spend about 3 days exploring New York. Do it's like 2 trips in one. New York and the Bahamas.
So, life is feeling pretty eventful and exciting (and expensive) right now, but all in all it's going pretty well. I kind of need me a summer job, the place that normally hires me when I'm in the teaching off season didn't this year, but if I don't get working, I will survive on savings, just would prefer to keep those for the trip, and accumulate even more, if possible.
So that's where I'm at. Oh, and kind of feeling like I'm turning into a tomboy, in the sense that I'm developing a lot of masculine hobbies, like knife collecting, I'm into guns/BB guns, and now, I've discovered I kind of like fishing. But, I still dress and look girlie, so that is my saving grace.
