I came back to the United States at the end of August for work. I found work now I'm stuck in Oregon listening to the grateful dead with no place to go, no work, completely alone with only a book, glass of water and what's left of my sanity. I had intended to work until Christmas. However I got greedy! I left the place I was working because I had heard of work with higher pay here in Oregon. See originally I was working in the mountains of California. My friend Natalie and I decided to leave after I had an argument with one of the managers. When we arrived at the new spot we quickly learned that there was never any work available and only men with one thing on their mind. Then we went further north. Once again we were met with a man who claimed to have work for us however the job he had for us was not what we had in mind if you catch my drift. Which lands me here sitting in a cafe listening to the grateful dead in an Oregon cafe as I await the return of Natalie. It's been one hell of a season since my return to the states. It started with my arrival in San Francisco. I stayed at a hostel and did normal touristic things such as see the golden gate bridge. After three days in San Francisco I traveled north to Chico area by train. On the train ride up we hit a truck and killed the passengers of the vehicle. The train was stopped for hours. Finally we were allowed onto another train and I continued my journey. Once in Chico I met up with my friend Kelsey and we grabbed dinner together. After dinner she took me to her house. The house was in such a state. No electricity, no kitchen, no hot water, and she lived in the Attic. I began staying with her and helping her with her property. However after a day she informed me that she would not be able to pay me right away. She eventually took me over to the farm I worked last year. I began doing work there and decided I wanted to stay. Three days passed before I was able to gather my belongings from Kelseys. Unfortunately the farm I was now working was one in which the man I dated last year was the manager of. Now I was working for him and our relationship was troublesome to say the least. After awhile a new lady arrived and began working as well. The lady was Natalie. Dan my ex and her started "hooking up" almost immediately. Her and I started also becoming friends. I waited two weeks before finally telling her about Dan and I. After that we became closer. Eventually the three of us started all hooking up together. We even all three would go on dates. One of our dates consisted of having wine and going to the beach where we proceeded to have a threesome there on the sand and rocks by the beach. Unfortunately that night Dan and I had one last night and broke up once more. Our relationship was always troublesome to say the least. After that I continued working until one day I was feeling under appreciated and exploded. That's when Natalie and I decided we were going to leave. She was looking for a way out as she did not have the same feelings for Dan as he had for her and she and I were hoping for higher pay. We had to wait for the owner of the farm to return to get paid before leaving. Therefore we had to pass one more weekend in Chico. I was going to just work through the weekend. However a everyone else in the house went out for the evening. I was sitting there working when my friend tiger came up to me and asked if I would come out with him and our friend Kasey. I said "I'm not really sure and need convincing". That's when they offered me coke. I did some and left with them. I did not change my clothes, brush my hair, put on make up or anything. We went got drinks and played darts. A few other friends showed up and informed us they were going to play pool across town. We went back to the car did more coke and then drove to the pool bar. We were the only ones there, our friends ended up going somewhere else. We finally drove to this club that always has music. I met up with Kaitlyn whom I had been working with at the farm. The music ended and everyone was trying to go home except Kaitlyn. She asked me if I would stay with her if she found us an after party. I replied that I was feeling tired. That's when she handed me a hit of acid, " here this should help". I took it and followed her to the party. The party we went to didn't have many people or much going on. Therefore we left and went to another party catching rides everywhere we went because neither her nor I had a car. At the next party we do more coke and Meet an array of interesting people including one cross dresser whom was trying to convince us to go to her show. The party was coming to an end so we decided to leave with this guy she had been hooking up with and his roommate. At their house everyone was tripping. Their was a kid about 19 on mushrooms and a 45 year old man that was feeding the child nitrous and watching him squirm on the floor. After hours of listening to heavy bass music at the house we decide to take the circus to the farmers market to" smoke cigarettes in front of the vegans". To be continued........

wow. i randomly ran into this. while I would never say this doesn't sound like some quite cool partying, and omg how much fun the triple dating might have been, I *would suggest* just slowing down the pace of your life for a short period. say.... a few weeks. also, if that helps: you've pretty much left a bit of scorched earth there, it seems. Might want to know that for the long run of your life it'll just become an experience and a story and everything tends to slowly swing back to somewhere between 'good things happen' and 'nothing happens'. So even if you're sitting there quite lost now, a) you got music b) things outta turn out fine. also, more practical: find a way to find jobs that are just that: jobs. Not promises from someone who needs to spice up their love life. Even the most boring stupid job will be better to settle down for a moment. And seriously, you need to. Even though, if I were a girl I'd probably have sit in that very spot after having the same "we party to the ground" stuff like you do. I *do* envy and would've loved to be around. But I think you can have both ways of your life, IF you start adding the slow-moving part to it. I can tell as much as that, rite now, you definitely skipped that one. Don't cut too short on the fun. Just enough to... well, you know, right?
