The past little while has found me frustrated and grumpy and disillusioned with the world. My postings here have reflected that. they've also reflected that since the site change, I've felt more disconnected with the understanding of community that had been bulit here. In part I feel lost and that a part of my life is suddenly gone. (That is only partially unrelated to the SG change over.)
I want to share with you different blogs/news sources/babbles and ramblings that I keep up with, in part.

A man's personal Photoblog. Written entirely in photos the nonsequiter nature of this series of installments is both beautiful, breathtaking and amazingly simple in form function and visual stimulation. He exposes the nuances missed by the rest of us who travel too quickly to see our surroundings.

Once again, nuances that you can and will miss if not paying attention. This fellow just brings them to the spotlight for a brief moment.

Titling itself a journal of undergraduate work, it gives venue to display art, literature, photography, ect. The basis of display does not convey copyright and all copyrights belong to the respective owners of the works. Some good some bad... they filter out the ugly.

Written and maintained by a guy I went to college with, it's going through some changes. A good read, though you're never sure if you'll get philisophy, politics or sports. He quoted me on a few things some years back so if you'll look you'll find it.
(The semester I met him, I almost failed out of college due to the free play pool tables in the game room open from six am to about midnight or one. Between those, philisophical/political discussions where we all felt that we held more validity than we actually did and the gaming club where I encountered obscure games with much more substance than say monopoly or yachtzy, my studies definatly suffered. Thankfully one of my professors ran the gaming club and understood the nature of my academic shortcommings.)

An amazingly beautiful female who was my first online ubercute girl crush. This was Before I encountered SG. I've never developed an internet crush as strong as this one. Though I do not feed the crush anymore, I occasionally still pop in to her site to see how she's doing. It should be noted that I've never told her and She has NO idea who I am.

Though this magazine put out it's last installment in 2004, It reigns as one of my favorites of all time. Maybe it came along at just the right time in my life to claim the title. Maybe it is that good. I don't know, but I like it.

I'm learning to deal with it, simply because all the alternatives are shite anyhow.

I started a MySpace account a couple of weeks ago. Actually the Band did. I'm joining groups and networking and whatnot. So far I'm not sensing that "community" thing happening. It's just so vast.
