Yes, though it was originally about the Cambodia invasion. Kent State was one of dozens of campuses that were having large demonstrations over the invasion, and when the shootings took place, everybody went ballistic (pardon the expression...) and demonstrations that had been fairly peaceful turned ugly pretty quick.
