yesterday was our 2 year anniversary.. we didnt do anything.. which i dont care about because i dont see it as something to celebrate.
i wish amelia would get over herself... seriously...our new cats name is bea. and shes extremely affectionate. although amelia doesnt really like her at the moment... i just hope amelia will get over herself and realize that bea could be an awesome friend. bea really wants to be friends with amelia.. but when amelia constantly growls and hisses at her she cant really get to close. i wonder how long this is going to go on.
anyone have suggestions? do you think amelia will get over it and start to like her? i mean.. luna (old roommates cat) was pretty mean to amelia some of the time.. but bea is pretty damn friendly.. and if amelia could make friends with luna im SURE she can make friends with bea.. but i dont have much experience wit this so hopefully someone reading this does and lets me know.
got work on my tattoo yesterday... its looking decent.. the artist said about another hour and a half will finish up the bottom.. so i guess my next appointment will finish that up... and then we're moving to the elbow area.. so he's going to have to draw something up. i want it to be a mixture of organic and mechanical.. for the bottom is all organic. so yeah...some valves and sprockets, and whoopdeedo's and thingamcjiggers, and buttons and whatchmccallits. indeed. its all coming together.
my bike got a flat tire today... when i was coming home from the shop.. i looked over my shoulder to see if any traffic was coming because i needed to go around a parked car... and BAM! i hit a pot hole... blowing my tire. at least i was on portland blvd... not too far from home.
also.. jason is probably going to be all moved in on sunday. he moved some stuff in today including a big bowl of duck fat thats going to be kept in the fridge. ummm.. yuk?

i think amelia will eventually get used to bea. when we brought our new kitten into our apartment last year, our old cat HATED it with a passion the first few months. hissing, biting, swatting... just wasn't fond of the new little furball. the kitten though was so friendly and wanted so badly to be friends. the older cat just needs time to get used to the new one. i'm sure they'll eventually get along fine. i'm not sure if there's any "tips" for this sort of thing, i just pretty much let them alone and they worked it out for themselves. just "spread" the love evenly. give them both equal attention. and occassionally give them their seperate space for an hour or so a day. that's all i did.
