I guess it's time for a mid-year update.
I finally got a job! It doesn't have anything to do with my degree but it pays fairly decent and it's smack dab in the middle of downtown so I'm happy with it. I also finally got a car that gets more than 10mpg which is fantastic. My bank account has never been happier.
Other than that I've just been spending most of my weekends at my friend's pool not getting a tan or a sunburn which is fine by me. I've only just started my job last week so it's going to take a while for me to save up enough to move out but I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a place by the end of the year.
Haven't got much planned for the summer other than my yearly trip to Michigan to visit my grandparents and be a beach bum for a couple days. There's some kind of scifi convention going on in Indy the beginning of July that I'm mildly interested in checking out but idk how amazing it's going to be. I've got a friend visiting me from SC in two weeks so we'll get into some shenanigans I'm sure but probably nothing too crazy.
Ah, almost forgot about Girl Pride! Last week was Indy Pride and last Thursday was Girl Pride at a local gay bar. The burlesque troupe that performed last year came back with nearly all different ladies and boy oh boy were they fantastic.
Gravity Plays Favorites will always be my favorite part of Girl Pride.
