I think you should have her checked, if it looks like she's in pain then it's probably bad news, and sad as it may be, I recommend that you put her to sleep. I had to do that to one of my ferrets recently and it was painful like hell but at the same time I knew it wasn't an evil deed. Making her live in pain would have been.

My drivers ed teacher, when I put on the brakes to keep from hitting a swooping mockingbird said in a very stiff tone "we never breat for small animals such as birds, squirrles, cats, and dogs." My thought was maybe YOU don't, but I sure as hell do.
