OK, so nothing exciting is going on, so sue me! It's been raining and chiily for three weekends now, not very condusive to getting out in the 'yak and going for a paddle. Maybe it will be better next weekend, I don't want to miss the fall color change again this year.

So you must have survived the big event! Unfortunately, no plans in this house for the 10 miler. I run every other week or so- can do 4-5 miles if I want, but pay for it hte next day (ankles, knees). The wife is on the downside of training right now after doing the 1/2 Marathon at Va. Beach w/her sister over Labor Day. But I am sure you will be out there in front!
She's gone, no Mom tonight, great bike ride this evening, place all to myself, Kitchen Sink Salad & a Dirty Bombay Martini: BLISS!!

Toots, eh? I think I saw him way back when at a summer jazz fest in Atlanta, but was too zonked to remember. Be nice to see him sober. On the subject of the Army 10 miler, I missed it last year as did the wife. She had a # but punked out. Actually, she has quit running altogether. Not sure exactly why. Whatever. Yeah, Life aquatic was kinda - weird - I understood from an intellectual POV why everybody raved about it, but it was not what I would have picked to spend my 10$ on, even tho I picked it to spend my 10$ on.
