So I've just discovered the greatness of Life is Killing Me.
I mean, I bought it the day it came out last year. Listened to it all the way through maybe once... but "I Don't Wanna Be Me" really stands out, no doubt. I just kinda got stuck on that and pushed the rest aside. So I just started listening to it again, all the other songs, and DAMN! I love, love, love, "Nettie," "Anesthesia," and, yes... "(We Were) Electrocute."

1. Saw both "Kill Bills" back to back at the best theater in the U.S. last night: The ArcLight in Hollywood. For my money, although "Vol. 1" is a killer action flick, "Vol. 2" is a much better movie than "1" overall. It was very cool to see them both on the HUGE screen back to back - and to give you an idea of what the Arclight's Dome theater is like, check out this.
(Q.T. was supposed to do a Q&A after the screenings, but his flight from NYC was delayed. It was still a great time, though - and there were tons of SGLA peeps in the house.)
2. My bro Meical was the boom operator and our pal Whit was the sound mixer on "American Splendor". I think Meical did a Q&A with the directors Rob and Sherri at the Atlanta Film Festival last year, if I'm not mistaken. He and Whit are all over that DVD, and Meical is actually in the movie as well, briefly: he's sitting next to Paul (the fake Harvey) on the bus stop bench.
Isn't that a great movie? I'm told they are the nicest people, too.
New name, huh? Rock on.
