*UPDATE* I'll make a long story short!
Jenny is in the hospital as of 9am this morning. The rise and fall of her blood sugar had nothing to do with her diabetes. They said it could be mini strokes or seizures. I'll do my best to keep you all updated. All prayers would be greatly enjoyed. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Brave? Me. Nah. Just trying to open a creative outlet. I have a person who loves me and who is willing and supportive enough to let my express myself. He thinks I am beautiful no matter what I do. To be honest, it did not hurt at all. The piercer, Kate, put a clamp on my eyebrow and said, "Now you will feel some pressure and I want you to close your eye." The next thing I know I was asking her if she had started. She laughed and said, "Well, I have been finished for awhile. I just can not get the ball attached to the top. That is the hardest part with a curved barbell." She actually lost one of them. To better the situation, she even gave me an additional barbell and ball free for losing the other one. She rocked. For all of those who are interested her shop was called THE INKWELL and it is in WV; The staff there is amazing. They are very talented artists and their prices are very reasonable. I am going there soon to get my two cartilages in my ears pierced and my first tat! WOOT! I am so excited.

Thanks for the comment, outcastgenius (can I call you OCG?). It was very much appreciated and gave me a lot to think about. I've spent my entire adult life living in urban areas, but growing up a somewhat spoiled brat I don't exactly have in depth knowledge of what it's like to have to live this way.

I'm about half-way into my semester into grad school, myself. Library science. So far, it's kind of kicking my ass and it's intimidating as hell, but it's actually really interesting so far. I hope I make it all the way through!

Your welcome. I don't mind sharing my experiences. I learned a lot from them. I even think they made me a better person in some ways. I tend to think I appreciate things in life more now. As far as the outcastgenius thing it is actually a joke of sorts. In high school I was always the unpopular kid, the nerd, if you will. I always had my nose in a book and I did not participate in many activities outside the realm of academia. Hence, where the outcast came from. I even hung out with those individuals who tended to follow the same path as myself. I never made fun of others and always took those who were bullied under my wing. As for the genius part, the books led me to be somewhat knowledgeable I suppose. I got into Duke University for undergraduate school, well at least half way. Sort of a weird story. You have to be accepted twice. Once based on grades and then interviewed based on your so called "other" qualities. Once I was interviewed, they denied my acceptance. They told me that I was not socially ready for the Duke environment. It crushed me at first, but I moved on. So as a joke to all this, my friends and I made up the name "outcastgenius" to refer to all the people who did not quite fit in yet well very intelligent people who had a lot to offer the world. For future reference however, you can call me what my friends and boyfriend do and that is Jen or Jenny. Whatever you prefer. My real name is Virginia, but I hate it and only use it in school and at doctor's offices. However, I often hear it when being scolded by a parent. Go figure!
