I just got home from having drinks (non alcoholic ones for me though, off the drink for now!) with friends, two of them I've not seen for a while and one of them I've only seen a few times really since school. The other was one of my best friends, Katie. It was really good to see them after so long but it was a bit weird, we ended up talking about people we know who have died and spirits and things. Was cleansing sort of but a bit freaky at the same time.
One of our friends from school died when we were 16, and it turns out that me and the friend I haven't seen in ages had a dream bout her on the same weekend! the dreams were similar too, we dreamt that she was older but we knew who she was and that we were just talking to her like we hadn't seen her in ages. I was in London when i had my dream and was sharing a room with a workmate. I woke up screaming 'cos I dreamt that I had already woken up and my workmate had told me i dreamt about her because she was in the room, that's what made me wake up screaming.
We did move onto cheerier subjects in the end, and just before we left a VERY drunk guy came and put an empty glass with his number on a slip of paper inside and pushed it towards Katie. Luckily he left so didn't see us pissing ourselves laughing and give the glass to the glass collector, to who we had to explain we weren't coming onto as the number wasn't for them!
Had a very odd day really, was VERY down this morning, for some reason I thought it was a great idea to read things that I knew would upset me lots, I have no idea why I did it. But I got up, went to the gym and felt ok after that. I got down again when I found a rip in my jeans as I thought that meant hours of walking around town getting depressed 'cos I wouldn't be able to find any jeans that fit, BUT in the second shop I went in I got two pairs! Only girls will know how amazing that actually is!!!! And now I'm happy as I'm watching a film with Keifer Sutherland in it
Even though he is a racist hick in it, but he still looks pretty! That sounded really wrong didn't it!?!
Oh yeah, am also off to the Brum meet in March, am soooo busy till i go away in April! Bit scared that I have no plans for after i come back at all, but I think that's how it has to be for now.
