I'm off to Dublin to visit Valerie today. She's been working hard on her thesis and she definately deserves a break. biggrin
Her time her may be extended too.

We're gonna hit a really cute little bead shop so I can make my friend, Heather a really cool matching choker and bracelet set for her b-day.

I haven't seen her in years n years. She was...

All that crap I bitched about isn't too bad. The vyeseleph fixed the internet, I barely remember the nightmare, I have plenty of gum, and most of my coworkers are away today (leaving me free to waste time on SG). Definitely worth the wildness of last Friday's party.

That was a good episode of SatC, I thought.

I wonder if I'd be able to watch that WfW show. He's not actually involved in its production, is he?
mylf:
I should clean my kitchen too, but I can't seem to find the motivation. Oh well there's always tomorrow smile

I haven't gotten a handmade anything besides from the kids in forever. I think she'll really like the set.

Hope you had fun in Dublin biggrin

Hmmmm.......
So it looks like our time in Ireland might get extended. I'm thinking about just going back with the kids in March and leaving Sean here to fin for himself for a month or so. I don't know~ I go back n fourth. The education system out here sucks. Sucks in OR too. I'll be supplementing the kids at home this summer either way....

Ferdinand was in Babe 2. You probably never saw it because it came out to little fanfare and you thought, "a sequel to a kids' movie? It's got to be crap!"

But this was directed by the guy who directed the ultra-violent Mad Max series. Pig in the City is fucked up at parts.

And I do like things that a dollar, I don't like things that cost $x.99, as in $9.99, $19.99, $99.99. It's such an obvious attempt to make you think the product costs $1 less than it does. And it works!

And my hair is fluffy. Thanks for posting! You were born three days after my woman was.

Pisces rock!
How old is your daughter? Where in Ireland are you? What is your favoite color? Do you like peanuts?

I thought I did resize them. You should check. In fact, I'm confident I resized them. The same night I did those ones I posted. Yeah, just post them. They just had to be less than 100k.

I wish we had better pics of Paris. The weather sucked and I wasn't too happy with most of them. frown

My chemistry is outta wack. But I'll figure it out. Hopefully soon. (either that or I need an exorcist)

Our friends from America are coming in one more week. Whoo hoo. I haven't seen my one gal-pal in almost 10 years. We are gonna have a karioke' party when they get here. I'm so excited!!!!

If you were going to live in the BIODOME for one year:
What 3 CD's would you bring?
They can't be a greatest hits album and you can not mix them yourself.

What three people would you bring with you? You can choose ANYONE for your three peeps.

If you could choose 1 luxury item to bring along with you~ what would it be?
Keep...

I actually posted in Mylf's journal. Started to do the others but just hadn't gotten to it yet. Trying to do SOME work while I'm here.
Stern is just entertaining. He's pushed the FCC envelope more than most have. Nothing wrong there. The reaction from Super Bowl tit is f...ing ridiculous. The only thing wrong with it was that it was a cheap attention ploy. I would rather her to have had the guts to rip off her shirt like her brother, instead of this OOOPS! Sorry! shit. Indecency, give me a break. Hell, they just got around to showing a bare ass on TV. How long have they actually showed models wearing lingerie/underwear without having clothes underneath or being plastic? But show us all the killing you can, just no tits.

The Enigma shoud still be there. Don't know if I had added it to the Library. But I was updating the tags and filenames so they might have gotten moved around. Might have to change the library view to All or something.

Do you have a profile on Yahoo? More of a reason to attract freaks. You could also just ignore the people since you don't know them. That's sometimes how passwords are stolen. Espceially with AOL/AIM. Tell him I said Hi!

well yesterday was good.

I found the deck I've been looking for at a different shop.
I went back to that one metaphysical shop with Val but that guy wasn't there. I wanted to get the lantern I had seen there a few weeks ago. I bought one like the one I got Val. (her's was purple) It should match our room in the states...

(my ooooh's sound like ew most of the time, too... unless it's OOooooh, like toe, only emphatic)

do you realize how inexpensive it is to make a duvet in comparison to all the cost of that bedding! but i'd imagine that the cost in the states, according to your testimony, is cheap enough to call for the expense.

i buy paper towels like crazy just because i don't like to do so much wash and because the germs in rags or sponges creep me out. and recycling is cool - if you buy recycled paper towels, i'm pretty sure you can recycle them back again.
food, i will almost always pay good money for - anything i consume that way, into my body, i am willing to pay good money for - i should take better care of my skin, though.
that's why i should live in a commune, because i could just go to the person who could pamper my skin and say "i'll make you a great meal if you'll do my skin up right today"... it'd be great.

i need a pick me up today
think i'll have some tea smile

yep 4 whole days

no such thing as too many carbs. I don't think I could ever limit the # of carbs I ate unless it was medically neccassary. Too many of my fave foods are LOADED with carbs.

no matter how much lotion I put on my hands- they stay dry~dry~dry.

I miss Pywacket. I miss reading her Tarot Interpertations of the cards. Speaking of that.
I went into this metaphysical shop in Dublin with my friend Val before seeing Pearl Earring the other day and the guy running the store was such a major dickhead. I kept making assumptions about his...

Have I mentioned how much I like your profile kitty?
citrus:
so, you know you have to post the pictures from paris!

the workout's going alright. it's super boring, though - at the gym.
i've been doing crunches and lunges at home - lunges are most difficult when you're jumping down and holding - my trainer taught me that, so since i don't have a stair stepper thing i've been using a toolbox. and you stand on it, and then jump down into a lunge, almost strattling the box (about a foot tall) and hold, then step up, jump down into lunge. .. fuuuuuck!
but it's my waistline that needs more work. i have this hereditary belly thing, like the pooch below my bellybutton. not even low enough to consider it a fupa, but still ucky. someone told me it's a "weak abdominal wall" which makes me think my intestines are trying to get out
anyhow, the crunches are most important. i have a pilates thing i've been doing, too (how cheese that it's the windsor thing you see all over the place) - one of the tough ones (that my trainer also suggested) is to lay on your back, put your legs in the air 90degrees to your back and, keeping your arms level with the ground, crunch toward your raised legs. hold it and then sortof bounce your arms, but flex them isometric-like. fuuuuuuck.
but, a muscle cell is three times smaller than a fat cell and WILL BURN THE FAT! sooo it's worth it.
i've only lost six pounds, though. i mean... that doesn't include the one size i lost slowly from cutting calories since october, but the six pounds since the beginning of the year.
and i only gym it on weekdays, too. i'm trying to motivate to do it in the morning but i'm not really a morning person. ideally i'd be at the gym at ten to six so i'd have time to prepare for work and go in after exercise then have my evenings free for time to do something before the sunsets. but nooooo! instead i'm dumb and go to the gym after work and lose the hours of light to inside and fluorescents.
bleh.

um. what else.
oh yeah. the weekends i've been trying to do fun stuff that also includes something anti-lazy.
like, museums - you have to walk around them alot. and i spend a lot of time at the lake, and though it's been getting cold, exercising makes my cheeks warm and it's kindof fun the way my nose and lips and chin get cold but i'm sweating under a jacket.
and i have a friend who lives a little ways from some movies so when i meet her we just walk. and another friend and i ride bikes when we're not remodeling her house. remodeling a house is fun and exercise-y too. even the painting - my arms hurt after pushing a roller all day or clutching a brush to cut in.
my mom has six dogs so i walk them and it's fun cuz they're dogs and they're fun. they're so excited and sometimes i run with them.
but it's just cheesy stuff, you know. if i'm shopping (which i almost loathe to do) i power it through the stores.

whatever. i'm trying. isn't that all we can do, is give it effort.
and i keep in mind the idea that changed my life, so, that makes it worth it, too.
if i want the life i want i have to live it now - and i have to keep in mind that some of the best results aren't fun for doing the work. but it's worth it.

good luck, lovely.
i think of kids, too. i don't want to feel old before my time - i always say that age is an attitude and if i'm young then i should use my body better.

you know,
i could fucking ramble here for another hour but i won't
cuz i have work to do. haha
