My mom called and cancelled Christmas. said we're just not doing gifts this year. She doesn't even feel like putting up the tree. No real extended family get togethers either. It's not the material part of it that gets me, they're helping me out a lot with moving in expenses and that's really sweet of them. But it's kind of weird....something's up.

I hate public laundry mats. I know exactly what you're talking about. I used to live in this apatrment where almost everytime that I went to di laundry someone had let their stuff in the washer of dryer for hours and not come back to gather thier unmentionables.
