In typical manic manner, I have changed my mind. I don't feel the need to explain myself- I am naturally an upbeat person. I've hid all of everything that's been going on in my life to be there for you all; put aside my worries and problems because to me they seemed minor. I could handle them.

What classes are you taking? I have Reading Poetry (I have a crush on the professor) and Native American Literature (which kicks ass).

Thanks to everyone who left their condolences. It's been a rough time, but I will make it through.
I spent yesterday with my grandmother, who keeps a little register of who comes to visit her and on what day. Before my father and the pastor went to go tell her about my aunt, she hadn't been visited in 2 weeks. The last people who visited...

I was at school, in class, when my phone rang. I thought it was unusual that my mother call me twice at the early hour of 11 am, and when I checked my voicemail, I wasn't shocked to hear that my Aunt Annette was in the hospital.

I too, am sorry to hear about your Aunt's passing.
I lost both of my Aunt's - both like second mother's to me - and both of them far too young to die......They both died in the Fall, but in separate years'. Autumn will never be the same for me - it always reminds me of death, now.....
On a brighter note - thanks for adding me to your friends' list -

Of course trust is difficult to accomplish... look at the shit so many of us go through. Eventually though, we can find the right people who are worthy of it.

Last year, I was going through an EXTREMELY hard time in my life. This is... say... February. My husband is being a complete dickwad and ignoring me CONSTANTLY, setting me aside, pushing me away, and while dealing with this, I made friends with one of the cashiers working at the store my bank was located in. He was sweet, understood my life,...

I will walk these broken floorboards and stare through paint glazed windows

dying in the wind
wishing for an absolution of yesterday's departures.

Is it sad that the highlight of my company's appreciation gala was getting drunk in the parking lot with one of my employee's and three other supervisors in other branches and then telling everyone that one of the other supervisors and I got married last week?
Our regional manager thought it was hilarious.
That being said...
I need to bring this up. I, personally, don't...

SG is your SG...you can share what you want, when you want..thats entirely up to you. i mean our journals are for us...and we can see whatever we want! i hope you're okay!
battlin_albright:
Getting drunk in a parking lot is excellent. Seriously.
I've always thought I wasn't being open enough in my journals, because some people share like graphic sordid sexual details and blow by blow accounts of their lives in theirs. Some people like to overshare, others like to undershare. Each to their own.

I know it seems silly to speak Latin to a bird.
But I like the Raven
And the Raven likes dead things.
I learned recently that noone is exactly who you thought they were. Even after knowing them for years. Change is constant. I think it's the closest thing we have to Perpetual motion.

Taken on UM-Flint Campus.
Those of you who know me... know that I attend the University of Michigan... I've been going to the Flint campus for a few years now and I've done a lot of work in the community, as well as my observation internship for school (which was done at Flint Northern). I have a passion for this city, as shitty as it can be at times....
