Is it sad that the highlight of my company's appreciation gala was getting drunk in the parking lot with one of my employee's and three other supervisors in other branches and then telling everyone that one of the other supervisors and I got married last week?
Our regional manager thought it was hilarious.

I need to bring this up. I, personally, don't like to broadcast my life to the world. I don't need all of SG to know who I'm dating, who I've dated, who I've got a crush on, who has a crush on me, who thinks who is hot. I realize that I have gotten past high school, and I don't pass notes saying, "do you like me? circle yes or no." I keep my shit relatively quiet, simply because its no one's business but mine and that person's. However, I don't feel the need to hide, defend, or disguise my actions anymore. For a long time, I kept quiet about things I was up to and how I felt about people as to not hurt feelings.
But... now I feel like that respect of privacy bordered more on secrecy and deceit. I still will refrain from broadcasting the when, where, who, why, and how of my life. Just, from now on, I will answer questions honestly. I sort of feel like my need for privacy has really hurt some people.
This is no reason to play 20 questions. What I share is up to me. If I feel comfortable, I will confirm or deny things... If not, I will leave you wondering.
I just had to get it off of my chest, because apparently my newfound openness has hurt some feelings.
Fuck you emo kids and all of your feelings...

I've always thought I wasn't being open enough in my journals, because some people share like graphic sordid sexual details and blow by blow accounts of their lives in theirs. Some people like to overshare, others like to undershare. Each to their own.
