Been away for a few days and wanted to see how you were feeling? The insurance shit is DEFINITELY a downer. Hang in there..... Light at the end of the tunnel DOES actually happen.

I don't have insurance either but I've had 2 surgical proceedures in the last 2 years and there are already things in place. At least in Ohio. Talk to your hospital's social worker to see what they offer in the way of possibly taking care of all or most of your bills based on income. There are already federally funded programs to help people like you and I out who work our asses off but don't have the insurance to cover medical.

Good days & bad days..... I know exactly how you feel. But you'll get better soon enough and then all will be right with the world.

I have much experience with the Blahs, but not the post cerebral trauma blahs, well not like yours anyway, I've just had a few concussions. from car wrecks.
The first one really sucked cause it was my ride out of LA. and I ended up back on the street with a less than fully functional brain. It was sorta like a buzz that was a drag, instead of high.
That lasted a few days, then I smoked some hash, and it came back worse, so I avoided trying to get buzzed for a week and I got better. (notice I didn't say, "got well.")

(Here's some funny shit: I applied to Geezers, a few days back, even though I swore i would ask anyone's permission to do such a thing. Most groups I've applied to never even replied, incuding: No friends group, member since 2005 group, they sound pretty wide open. I guess I've achieved getting on the ,"Most Vile Members list" But anyway,today I message My dog farted, to withdraw my application, and minutes later I get 2 messages back accepting me as a member. ) "This is some very trippy shit" (Training Day) .

$350,000,000,00 area. Neadless to say it was way up there over my head, gave me a horrendous head ache;.....or was that the beer, smoke, and 5 hrs sleep ?
