Mid-Year Check In: What have you accomplished so far this year, and hope to accomplish by the end of 2019?

Long time without participating in the homework! Technically it doesn't count because it was last christmas and it still was 2018, but I'd say I accomplished to become a published illustrator with my book "The Lazy Kid", for sale on Amazon! So if I can't count with it, I'd say my biggest accomplishment this year was to escape with my mom from the physical and mental abuse, get a new house and a new life. Plus, getting 2 SOTD in the same year is wild! I never had 2 in a row and it's amazing <3

And, what do I expect to accomplish before the end of the year? I'd say get in better shape as I lost my loved running machine and I need to buy a new one, because the books I'm working on will take me SO MUCH LONG TIME yet. I love training, and I hope next month I can buy a new machine!

Escaping from abuse is so hard. I hear about it so much in the area I live in. I'm proud of you for taking action to move forward! As for my year, I've recovered enough in my depression to start working again, and I have started drawing again after nine years off. For the rest of the year, I hope to save enough to buy a tablet computer on which I can create digital art! Having dreams and desires really helps one to keep moving forward in life. Best wishes to your pursuits!
