racoons huh? Your aunt seems kind of weird. Good cookies or no.

I was actually pushing for Pellegrino Limonata, which is my current beverage of choice.

My grandmother is fond of saying that I was born forty. I was an incredibly serious and quiet child, dispensing the Look of Death at will when someone told me I ought to smile.

Went to the drive-in last night for a triple feature:

-A Shark's Tale
It just never worked. The story felt like it was still unfolding when sonofagun, denouement.

-Collateral
Casting Tom Cruise as a sociopathic hitman we're supposed to have some very mixed feelings about was a stroke of genius. I mean, the guy usually spends every second of screentime trying to make you like...

There was a drive-in multi-plex that I went to in Florida about ten years ago - I say there was, because it looked like it was on its last legs, nevermind the hurricanes. But it's true - Drive ins don't get no cooler. I've had some pretty good experiences with them.

However, I can't watch movies anymore - they make me nervous.

Well, I am glad you're excited to see Shaun of the Dead, but I made a mistake. After writing my last comment, I was talking to my husband, and found out that it wasn't written by the creators of The Office, but rather Spaced, which I've never seen. However, it does star some people from The Office, and it definitely has some of the same humor, hence my mistake...

You know the little PSAs they show in movie theatres now right before the feature, the ones with the stuntguy talking about how it's wrong to steal movies by downloading them and you shouldn't take something without paying for it because it's just not right and what would Jesus do?

I might not hate those things quite as biliously if it didn't cost me $13...

Back in my day we had speech therapists to whom you were sent if your teacher identified you as a child in need of such a service. I was such a case, and so I received instruction on where my tongue should go to execute a proper "s" sound. To this day I can "tune" my sibilants by placing my tongue in different places behind...

I have a little brother that had the adorable tendency to pronounce s like eth and r like aww.

A few years of subtle mockery cured him right quick!

We have already examined our siblinghood re: ex-stutterers, no?

I have two months to gather my goods. I am a bit worried about relocating my warehouse of Tesla's old scientific apparatuses (why not "apparati"?) to Los Angeles. Perhaps I will take the government up on the offer of fifty million for the EZX wave generators, as they are such a bitch to transport.

Just got back from the drive-in(!) where they were playing The Bourne Supremacy and Hero back to back.

The former: good. The latter: glorious.

The hot dogs: wretched.

Definitely a good time.

I haven't been to a Drive-In in ages! They don't have any that I know of in New England. The last one I attended was just outside of my hometown and it was called "The Last American Drive-In." That was in 1989. frown

I learned from a wise man that a writer needs to have a few things going at once in order to be productive. Balance is key: too many projects and nothing gets the attention it deserves; too few and you get sick of writing entirely. But with just the right number of manuscripts creeping along a guy can really get something done.

I am 26...

I choose Light Bringer the Awesome, thank you very much. I'm definitely awesome enough.

Yeah... I hope you're wrong, but I fear you're not. On the upside, I did meet a reasonably rad math student today - he's the only guy I have more than one class with, and he seems fairly stylish and sociall adept.

Good luck with the writing - people have told me I should do it, but I've tried, and the problems you mention compleetely discouraged me. Here's hoping you do better.

ginny's on security detail.

It's only a matter of time before the power corrupts her.

"Do I get to shoot people?"

There we go...

My little brother just left. Silly boy left his car under the trees where the hellbirds sing, and now it's crusted over in guano. I even caught a drop on my sandal while I was saying goodnight and collecting a borrowed CD.

Drank: a couple pints o' brew, and a pot o' Joe.
Smoked: several pipefuls of the shit musicians burn
Discussed: the musical genius...

Congratulations! Flux made no mistake in promoting you (though I'd like to see her stick around). I sense that a house cleaning is in order. Perhaps you should trim down to your "core" group? In that case, I will happily step aside and cheer you on from afar. Whatever you decide, carry it out with style!

Okay. I was just reeeaaaalllyyy confused since it was all three of you in one night. I thought I'd done something Very Bad. blush

No worries. Thanks for letting me know. I didn't mean to sound offended. I was just confused.
