mexico. anywhere in mexico. i'd like to see zihuatanejo. a friend of mine was once watching "the shawshank redemption", a movie that i really don't like that much, and i sat there in the living room for two hours just so i could see the end of the movie, where the camera floats over the ocean and the beach and the two friends meet again and you can just tell that that water would simply be beautiful to dive into. well, that scene is supposed to take place in zihuatanejo, and i think that scene, just for the sand and the water and the color of the water, is worth slogging through a two hour prison movie to see. i don't know if zihuatanejo is like that in real life. i know that san blas is NOT. i know that parts of baja ARE, definitely ARE. i also want to know more about in urban life in mexico, ...people and situations like those depicted in "amores perros" and, to a certain extant, in "y tu mama tambien." to live for a couple years in mexico city, that would be heaven.
