I've only ever been to the Maritimes once- this past summer, actually- and drove through New Brunswick merely to get to Prince Edward Island.

Leonard Cohen does indeed regat; that took me a second to get, I must admit. I'm so slow at Latin. Heh. That song 'One of Us Cannot be Wrong' really makes my heart explode.

Shit I would be so scared if the cops pulled guns on me! They held me and my boyfriend for 20mins. Then just let us go. They didn't even say sorry. Made my boyfriend 10 mins late for work and made me miss the bus. Oh and the robbery was at a Mr. Sub and we were just walking by.

Happy new year everyone!

Christmas was neat. My family was kind enough to get me a backpack (no more having to lug my tiny, heavy briefcase around), and an ipod (now my entire music collection can travel with me!). It was nice to see my family again.

Hey mate - thanks for the birthday wishes. Rough start thanks to fun workplace drama (tell me you need a lovely assistant), but a great finish, with the girl spoiling me as a crew from the office joined us for delicious steaky things.

The December 6th thing used to really bug me, because I hated hearing about what a dark day it was all the time (dumbass massacre taking the focus off ME and my day), but I haven't thought about it in many years. Which I guess means that the national memory of the event is subsiding somewhat. Either that, or I pay less attention to the news than I used to.
