Alrighty Its update time.
Firstly and foremostly, Id like to say thank you to all you wonderful people that left me birthday well wishes. The day was spent working then to cracker barrel for dinner. Cracker barrel corn bread is a gift from the gods I swear. Then it was over to Gadget's house to watch Fear of a Black Hat. The movie was simply hilarious, and quite informative as well. I now know the difference between bitches and hoes. Ahh sweet enlightenment!
Another somewhate belated birthday present is the ressurection of my home PC's internet capabilities, Huzzah for a new cable modem! Now Ill be able to log on with a little more frequency since work as been quite busy.
It strikes me a little funny that ever time we upgrade the modem, it gets progressivly smaller, as it is now its about the size of my hand. I shudder to think what the next upgrade will bring.
The weekend was quite eventful, Friday night was the Great Big Sea concert at the Keswick. Those canadian boys put on quite a good show. Many laughs were had and many celtic folks songs were sung, though I had to cut out early to get ready for Saturday. After staying the night at
JarradJL's place his brother himself and I all woke up bright and early and headed down to Virginia, for the Dagorhir battle. Ahh foam weapon combat how I love thee. The weather was absolutely perfect and we ended up fighting for about 6 hours straight. The highlight of the day for me was Killing arugable one of the greatest fighters down there 2 times in a row. and not even gettig hit. It kinda made me feel all warm and tingly inside when the guy went to the sidelines after the second time that I killed him and picked up a bow and arrow instead of his trademark flail and shield. Sadly however Jarrad hurt his knee pretty badly during the fighting so we were unable to finish the rest of the planned eveing, which was going to a party in PHilly thrown by my coworker. Instead teh evenig was spent in much needed recooperation. Sunday I got the call from Gadget bright and early and headed to her place for the parade we were walking in. Even in the rain walking with the she devils in a parade was mucho fun, even if we did get fucked out of our TV spot. Fucking bastards. After the parade a whole bunch of us hit a dinner and crammed far too many people into 1 booth, ahh constriction.
Well I think Ive run my mouth quite long enough Ill leave you with my excitement for Movie Night this evening, we get to watch Citizen Cane Im fuckin pumped.
