Another week in paradise......I mean SoCal. The weather's awesome - the traffic sucks! These folks haven't had rain in so long, they've completely forgotten how to drive in it! Yanni rehearsals have turned into an all week thing, which is cool. Can't wait to get back home and get the heck outta here! I can't believe there's still anyone out there who wants to keep Bush in office! If ya know half of the stuff that's gone down, during his term, and you still wanna keep him.....please let me know why! I seriously wanna know! Are we really better off now than we were 4 years ago? Do ya really think his band of merry fools are the only ones that can handle the situation overseas? Do you really like what he's done with education, the environment, medicare, social security...etc.? Do ya like how much more secure we've become since 9/11? Is it such a great thing that he's got the rest of the world hating us, when immediately after 9/11 they were all behind us?................Please tell me! I can understand the ignorant sheep out there, who are too lazy to read, and just get a boner thinkin that we're dropping bombs on......anyone. But for you educated folks that still want him in office - please help me understand your point of view! THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP IN A HUGE WAY, FOLKS!!! Sorry to rant, but it drives me freakin' nuts to even think of 4 more years of this shit. A friend of mine knows a republican, in Texas, who is voting for Kerry. Know why? Her son graduated high school, couldn't find a job in this messed up economy, so he joined the military.....and got killed over there. This is yet another of many similar stories I've heard. I find it very painful that we find it so hard to educate our young, in this country, but so easy to kill them. Just one more question, then I'll stop. I haven't heard (from anybody) why every cop in america didn't stand up and scream bloody hell about the ban being lifted on assault rifles?!
