Coffee, coffee, coffee. Elixer of the gods. Oh it's nice this mroning, I have coffee from Hawaii given to me by the groom of last week's wedding. The beans are really tiny, I never knew Hawiian coffee was so small. It's very smooth and robust though. I usually like really dark roasts, but this is good good.

So, today is all about house cleaning and...

Home again, home again.
This afternoon was the first time I've sat down and relaxed since before going to LA for the wedding event. Phew. Seriously. I've been catching up on sleep a bit too! So exciting.

The wedding went well, it was a good time all-round. I was very happy with what I'd written, and how I'd been able to find the thread I...

Last week of school, and we're in full meltdown mode over here. No one speaks in complete sentences, no one gets enough sleep. Too many things to do and not enough time to do any of em right... I hate that feeling. It happens every year.

However... the wedding ceremony writing is going well. The happy couple are approving of my work, and there are...

thank you for the kind words - good luck with wrapping things up

Man, writing this wedding ceremony is a bear! Non-traditional in every sense, we want gender-neutrality, no gods involved, handfasting, ring exchange. If these two were getting married without parent-pressures, the boy would be wearing the dress and the girls the tux! They're a perfect couple, and I want to write them the perfect ceremony... they're so stressed right now they're not being much help wink
I...

Cool, thanks for the added added message.

Its cool where I live as in LA the night fog carries the sounds of the train horns from miles away. Very Nior.

I saw some BNSF stuff yesterday still in Santa Fe Yellow/Blue.

My rail interest is mainly in the old Southern Pacific that was taken over by UP in 1996 and few relics of the SP days live on.

Here I ramble.

Tell me more about yourself.

Off to a bus excursion tomorrow mornign, set to ride a great old bus. Will post my report on my profile tomorrow night.

Have a great one.

Lordy, what a day... work! Arrrgh!
Just too disjointed today. Server backup power failed, server shut down, no one told me. I spent 40 minutes trying to join a machine to the domain, assuming the cable was bad, the plug was shot etc... finally... hey, what's that noise coming from the server closet? Oh, the battery alarm! Ha!

Then, two different MS Word problems had...

Yow.
Two exact months sice I've been on here.
Time marches on eh?
So I've changed jobs and my mental health has inproved immeasureably. My garden is kicking ass. Sweetpeas are about 8 feet tall and overtaking the tree dahlia. Summer is fast approaching! I'm being sent to Chicago in July for a week of software training... I've never been to Chicago, so that should...

Man, I just write a ridiculously long post about my kid being born. I've been much more sound of mind of late, changing jobs was a good thing. However, I've been sick and over busy dealing with life in general. It just keeps turning turning.
My garden is looking good, tomatoes are in, put in some peppers and eggplant. I like long-term projects, waiting for...

Dreams Less Sweet. Still lovely, after so many years.

Had dinner with the noizy friends on Friday. Talked about the TG reunion, about Gen transforming, to Jennifer? Such a brilliant man, so miss-placed? So many questions. I'd love to see Gen again. He had a purity of purpose, as undefined as the purpose was, that I'd love to achieve in life.

Burning Man tix go...

I wish I had known that sexy minx and all her chums (kinda obvious from my handle huh?)

You Can't Win huh? Good book. Where have all the opium dens gone in our lovely City?
impboy:
heyoo, denio. so you're going to the TG reunion? somehow, i think i'd be foolish to go, because i'd be telling myself that i should be making my OWN stuff and such-like. you know, "dreams less sweet" is one of my all-time faves, too, ever since high school. i actually managed to turn this hardcore genesis (as in phil collins, peter gabriel and the gang) fan onto that album, actually. he was a choir/glee club singer, the best in the school, and he said the album reminded him of english hymns.

still, i'll betcha it'll be a blast.

so, i'm all up and set to play a new game/puzzle on the site, and i think i should let my friends know about it, because i'll be acting a BIT peculiar once i start playing it. but it'll make perfect sense for those who are following along.

as for great albums, i have a few really swell ones. i have a lot of old lounge/exotica albums back in jersey that i could make a fortune pawning off on e-bay, for starters. i also have mrs. miller's greatest hits and this REALLY bizarre album put out for a coca-cola bottler's convention in sf called "the great get-together." you've got songs on it like "the big bottling plant in the sky" and "what's good for america" ("...is just GREAT BUSINESS!").

that thing, as you can imagine, is my pride and joy.

and btw, i love "you can't win" as well. "if you live with wolves, you will learn to howl." EL SUICIDO LOCO

Oh pulling pulling records records! I've been invited to play a set at a friend's party on saturday night. Fun fun. Gotta choose em now... it's always somewhat of a crapshoot, I try to bring a couple of sets and gauge the mood before going on. This is a sort of a noize drum n bass kinda crowd, though I can get away with weird...

Yeah.. reading Crash is the hotness. I'm going to see if she'll read me her favorite Chinese novel...

If your partner reads to you though.. don't fall asleep.. my ex did that once and it really pisses someone off. But I'm sure you wouldn't. Why don't you get the boyfriend to read to you?
