Angel in the Morning

I awake with a fog in my mind
As I open my eyes I realize I'm not alone
I roll to my side and my breath is taken away
There lies an angel next to me
Her face so pure and innocent in slumber
Curly blonde locks encompass her head
Luscious red lips such stark contrast to her fair skin
Even though she sleeps she smiles as in contentment
She stirs in her sleep and more is revealed
I start to see the edges of tattoos
Was I saved last night
Saved by this tattooed angel
When she awakes will she stay
Or is this a dream I never want to wake from
