the orangey glow of the streetlight
pour in the window, spill
across your face,
stretching eyelash shadows across your cheeks,
hot tears down mine.
With clenched fists I waited
knowing my white knuckles
couldn't force you to hold on.

remember the way you held me through those long summer nights?
you'd put your lips on the nape of my neck and whisper "i love you, girl. good night".
i hope that it was worth it.
thanks for all the pretty lies.

your comment to jonnytrrrash7 was amazingly wrong. It is rare for me to see you make such a blatantly innacurate statement. I may not always comment. I may not always address what you have written. But I always read your journals. Sometimes I have to go back because I miss some. But the only time I dont read them is when you change them before I get the chance. I dont know for sure that this has happened but since I know you have changed some I did read I can only assume you must have changed some that I didnt get to. That kind of makes me sad. I wonder what I missed.

stared.
at the blankly gaping hole.
i found that missing piece.

i'm finding that i'm missing that...

I'm going to miss you in group. Stay strong.
It broke, but it wasn't his fault. He found it that way - laying there, useless, next to the tools I intended to use to fix it.
At first, he didn't even seem to notice.
"Wow, this is really cool. Why aren't you using it?", he asked.
I mumbled through a brief explanation of exactly how and why it didn't work anymore. I...

Damn it's sad that you left. I haven't been in the group very long, but it kind of sucks watching it disintegrate.
