Last post - May 22.. jesus.

Here's the deal:

I can't access SG during the day anymore. That's when I'd participate on the forums for the most part - but my work blocked SG several months ago.
On top of that I'm insanely busy at night. I'm either writing for the mag, editing photos, or ... or...actually - that's all i do.

Things with Fangoria...

I have you on FB but I STILL miss our conversations, however, I understand busy as much as anyone. smile Thank you for the set love, as always dear. I am glad my business hasn't prompted you to forget about me, and that you've kept me in the small priviledged group you call friends!

My life is equal parts stupid and awesome.

Last night this task was presented to me :

On the 20th i will have 2 tickets that will involve a free dinner, shooting pics of Alice Cooper while in concert, then seeing the rest of the show from my table, followed by a back stage pass.

I duuno, should i go ?

That sounds awesome. Alice Cooper is coming to my area this summer and I have been contemplating seeing him. Do not ask me why but he is coming to the West Virginia State Fair. We normally do not get big acts like that in this area, so I am quite surprised. We hardly ever get any good concerts in this area. I think the best one I have seen to date was Tool and it was in Huntington, West Virginia. This to me was funny. They did not come to the capital city of Charleston, instead they went there. Nonetheless, the concert rocked. Most of the time I have to go out of town to see a good show and I will in most cases. I consider myself a complete concert whore. Although, I must admit I am going through concert withdraw at the moment. I have not been to one in almost a year. I saw Daughtry, Cavo, and Lifehouse in Kentucky last June. My boyfriend and some friends of ours were planning to go to Rock on the Range in Columbus this year, but they sold out of field tickets really fast. My boyfriend and his friends have gone for several years now and they were completely shocked at how fast the tickets went. They said last year they still had tickets available a few weeks before the show. So I am sad about missing out. frown Keep us posted if you decide to go. I want to know if Alice Cooper is going to be worth seeing. biggrin

Last weekend i was at a horror convention - for the first time on the other side of the tables - running the Fangoria booth.
It was a small convention called Shock Stock in London Ontario. First time for the guys who ran it - very little turnout - but everyone who showed up had a blast. That goes for the Vendors, the guests, and...

The best thing about having a kid is - turning him on to the stuff you like yourself.
(no - i dont mean SG - he's only 10!) I'm mostly talking about my other 3 loves: Literature, Music, and Film.

He digs music - even the top 30 crap he's been getting exposure to - out of the house, He's turning out to be quite...

This morning i was about to walk out of the bathroom when it dawned on my i hadn't used my deoderant stick yet. I stood there for a minute thinking, yes i did, i can clearly remember doing so. But after a while i realized i was remembering yesterday.

Haha I do that all the time. Just sucks when I don't realize it until I am at work.

I also often go to bed and can't remember if I peed or not. I usually go again just to be safe. I thought it was just when I was pregnant and always had to pee ... But almost 4 years later and I still do it confused

I will definitely stop by the booth ... But i will probably have clothes on ... Probably.

So here's something no one knows .. 'cept you guys now. (the 3 that will see this)

I love watches. Always have since i was a kid - as far back as i can remember. I was fixated on them, wanted to own as many as possible (which wasn't many as a kid - they were expensive back then)

I remember when LED watches came...

My kid and have been watching the James Bond films. We started with with the first one (Dr No) and have been working our way through chronologically, currently half way through On Her Majesties Secret Service.

I can't think of any other movies which are at the same time so goofy, and yet so endearing, despite themselves.
For me the high point of these films...

You've reminded me of watching "From Russia, With Love" with my boy. Its my favorite "real" Bond movie (I love the Woody Allen "Casino Royale", but for different reasons), and any time I express a strong sentiment about something in popular culture he wants to check it out. His verdict on this was two thumbs up, thank goodness.

I've never seen any of those films believe it or not frown
