don't take this the wrong way if you want to be in the military go right ahead but only after you speak with some people who are or have been in OTHER THAN THE RECRUITER!

DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THE RECRUITER TELLS YOU UNLESS YOU GET IT IN WRITING

I myself am in the Army but I'd be happy to chat with you and give you some advice about DLI since lots of marines come here too
