I gave my notice at work, today. On to other (hopefully better) things, at a new place. If nothing else, I won't be a contractor anymore (and I'll make better money).
Nervousness.
Resignation.
Why am I sad about leaving where I am now? It's a decent job. The boss is ok (most of the time). I like my coworkers (and some of the users, but I'd never tell them that).
In the end, I suppose I wasn't quite ready to leave yet. On the gripping hand, I can't simply say, "Oh, there will be something there when I'm ready."
