There is a fine line when you met someone you like between respecting yourself and asking for the romantic relations you desire and respecting an interests right to choose, or should I say a fine line between self confidence and giving your partner their free will. Most people have fun and and run on instinct and never notice the line, and for some people that works out fine. But some of us seem to be born to sing the blues once you notice and hesitate at the line you tend to be on the wrong side...maybe you made a friend instead of a lover and maybe your desire went to the competition because you thought you where letting her choose. Or maybe you lost a friend because you believed in yourself and the potential mate didn't, sometimes those are the hard breaks. Are you better off with a friendship that will likely fade away or a missed connection you will never hear from again? there is a choice in the kind of a failure if there is as choice at all? Free will is a passing thing like a dragon fly;
