this correspondence is keeping me writing & allowing me to practice using forms. the constantly moving subject matter keeps me on my toes.
i am full of amazing things right now. i'm looking forward to restarting my life when i move back to texas....

i've been away for too long. i've missed this beautiful place, where gorgeous women are walking canvases whose landscapes are run through with metallic spears. i can hardly contain myself.
work is a drag, but i at least have lovely ladies to keep my company when i get home.

Holy shit! That was YOU! Ginny was telling us all about it last semester. Unbelieveable.
Glad to hear that you recovered, though.

That was really interesting, I'd love to recommend a few other bands too
Hedningarna and Gjallarhorn are (partly) Finnish folk bands but the songs are mostly in Swedish.
Sanna Kurki-Suonio is a member of Hedningarna and sings in Finnish and the lyrics are from traditional Finnish source. Some really nice songs I think. Some translated lyrics can be found here

i've listened to a bit of hedningarna, & i've heard of gjallarhorn. i have a cd by garmarna, & they're pretty good as well.
i'm trying to plan a trip to finland for sometime within the next year or two. from what my research tells me, it's absolutely beautiful, a land of many lakes.
