Or you can just hold everyone on your friends list in suspence and anticipation. When will he post his new entry?! What will it be about?! Will it ever be done?! I'll shut up now
I came up with a new invention this morning: the hovercraft toilet. It's not a hovercraft that has an onboard toilet, it's more of a toilet that's also a hovercraft.
How long have we have had indoor plumbing and flushable toilets? A hundred or more years, right? Well, it's just not that impressive anymore being able to flush stuff away. Going to the... Read More

For the past couple of days I've more or less took a vacation from the internet. Yes, I have gotten online a little, I've even hung around SG a bit, but mostly my computer's been shut down. For me to be at home, awake for any long length of time and to mostly stay away from my computer is highly strange.
I've turned my TV on once for a non NBA playoffs show in the past month.
it was to watch Harry Potter DVD's before HP3 P O A.. came out.
I'm a dork
But I've also got about 30 pages of a novel done with a nicely fleshed out outline..
and I think I can sell it.
other than that.. I post here, and at Tar Valon.net.. which has troubles with the message boards.. (I'm a Sci-Fi Fantasy book geek) and an occasional visit to Stileproject.com which is full of angsty 15yr old boys who annoy me..
I dreamed about SG last night. You'd think that since I'm a guy the dream would be a big, naked orgy featuring a huge cast of my favorite Suicide Girls, but it wasn't. It was about my page here and people leaving odd comments on it. Exciting, huh? Well, I was always a little odd. I used to sneak out my dad's girlie magazines... Read More
Someone should invent a tattoo machine that would be like an ink-jet printer. If you want a tattoo, they'll just feed the info into the machine and strap you into it. A few minutes later you'll be tattooed.
On second though, this sounds like a pretty horrible idea. Forget I mentioned it.
Yesterday I was getting ready to eat a particularly luscious piece of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting when I dropped my fork. The fork couldn't just simply fall to the carpet, no, it had to bounce. It bounced off the front of my shirt, off the couch, off a foot stool in front of the couch, and then bounced several times down my... Read More
I went to an air show today and brought two cameras: my Nikon SLR with a 70-210mm zoom lens and my cheapo digital. The plan was to take pictures of close up stuff with the digital and shoot farther away stuff with the Nikon.
Everything went along fine until both cameras malfunctioned. What are the chances that in a given situation both cameras... Read More
Life would be so much more interesting if I had lots of robots to do things for me. Not evil things like conquoring Earth and enslaving humankind. No, I was thinking more along the lines of doing my shopping and filling the car up with gas. It's just no fun not having robots.
For the heck of it I decided to enter the Sonic Youth contest that's at the top of this page to win an iPod Mini. I had to fill out a survey. One of the questions was, "How long have you been a Sonic Youth fan?" You had to select an answer from a drop-down list. The maximum length of time was,... Read More
I talked about how I've decided to handle my friends list in my journal (click here). I hope that won't keep you from stopping by to say hello any time you like.
haha. i did that survey too. I as well put "more than five years." I got my first Sonis Youth album when I was eleven; saw them the first time at fifteen. Yeah, I felt pretty damn old too. Ah, well. You'll have that.
I just found out one of my favorite guitarists, Robert Quine, killed himself yesterday. If you don't know who he is (well, shame on you), he's known mainly for playing with Richard Hell, Lou Reed, and Mathew Sweet.
