Cameras Suck
I went to an air show today and brought two cameras: my Nikon SLR with a 70-210mm zoom lens and my cheapo digital. The plan was to take pictures of close up stuff with the digital and shoot farther away stuff with the Nikon.
Everything went along fine until both cameras malfunctioned. What are the chances that in a given situation both cameras a person is carrying will malfunction? It must be astronomical. Eventually I unjammed the Nikon and got the cheapo digital to stop showing error messages, but I was still really annoyed.

Definitiely unlucky. You need to sacrifice some cheap Chinese film to the camera gods. or something
