It's election night. Keep your toes crossed.

EDIT

It is over. If Obama wins California and Washington, he wins it all. Everything after that is just extra.

tongue Hello you.... bored? wanna look at naked women? I have a foto album challenge up in an album called commonalities. All the women have something in common that is neither beauty nor anatomy in common. Any guesses? kiss
I'll keep an eye out for your perfect girl up here....just one prob though, she'd be UP HERE frown . So, in short, an intelligent, independant, unselfconscious, engaging nudist , right? smile

This is fucking with my mind.

There is a former student of mine who plays for one of the other pool teams. We played their team tonight. Anyway, there is something about this woman that just keeps drawing me towards her. When she was a student, she would always participate in class, often while wearing a skirt. She's an intelligent, interesting, creative, and very attractive...

Marvelous, intelligent, silly man! Of course she's not off limits forever! It's a violation of your station as a teacher if you schmooze her into a closet for a make out session when you control what grades she'll be pulling in.... unless you intend to openly grade her on her looks, personality and her talents at the multiple forms of kissing that a woman can offer a man! LOL. And even then, I have doubts about whether that would be criminal. <merf> I agree with JustJeff as long as it's not criminal in your country, or in your contract it all comes down to personal comfort. You obviously don't think of her as a student anymore.... mostly. And once you're over 20, age doesn't count anymore (gotta find yourself a better excuse Coyote-san!) <dodges the projected charlie horse thrown by Mike> As for the emotion and stress, well aren't all women supposed to be like that? I could go into an I-have-no-life diatribe about hemispherical function and separation between the sexes, but truly, emotion and stress run higher in women for good reason, and most of us fit that description to a greater or lesser extent. If nothing else you can say that we are vastly different than our male counterparts.

I think you should go for it, BUT I think that you should go for drinks....alcohol stimulates testosterone production in us (gawd, when did I turn into such a geek knowing all this stuff?????) and she'll be climbing over the table to get at you!!! <-- sure fire way to see if you still think of her as a student! You're a good man, I don't question your ethical choices, not that you asked, but I don't think you should either. Not that you need it, but good luck <minxy smile>

Nekkid, huh? Do I get to see you nekkid? Online? And then, maybe post on my blog that your pictures are great, and spread the word? Hahahaha merf. You can see where this is going- yup. THEN I would do a tidy little right click, download the pic and use it as wallpaper on my 19
' monitor. I....am grinning unabashedly!!!!

I think . . . I need to get laid. On a regular basis. By one of them girlfriend things.

Yup. That's what I need to find. But a good one. Who has her own life, her own job, her own friends, isn't clingy, likes French films, good food, is intelligent, liberal, and likes to walk around naked.

Shouldn't be too hard.

Ok, this pisses me off: Yesterday was the local college's Homecoming pile of crap. There was a parade, and the local Democrats were giving out yard-signs to anyone who wanted them (not at the parade, but after). So, last night, a bunch of asshats went around and STOLE several of the yard signs!

FUCKERS! Not only was it rude. Not only was it criminal. It...

I just finished moving my stuff over here. My bed is made, my couch is put together, and I have 2 guiness (I hope, I brought them over yesterday) in the fridge, just waiting. I did manage to throw my back out, and I forgot to get a soap dish for the shower, but other than that, all is good biggrin

The Crash course he keeps stammering about?

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I did some google searching on the guy who created it. I should have just googled Ron Paul, it would have cut down on the number of returns i got.

It also showed up on StormFront (a really fun website for white supremacists ) puke

While Chris Martenson (the author of that site) isn't quite as dramatic as Ron Paul, he believes the Federal Reserve is this big evil entity that is out to kill us all and eat our babies.

The economic crash course, from what i have spent time on it, is a very, very dumbed down economics course and in some cases is just blatantly wrong, it goes against a lot of what some very highly accredited economists state.(Like the fact that the author has failed to realize that wages have actually increased since the 1950's) the Author bases fact on the idea that Federal Reserve just prints off money whenever it wants to, that gold is the only currency the US should be using and he heavily relies on "Peak Oil" and sincerely believes the global oil fields have peaked and we're now on the downward slope, creating a shortage of oil. Which is just false.

I read into it for about fifteen minutes, and i kept running across Ron Paul's name and the Ron Paulheads can't get enough of this guy, mostly because he puts the blame on the government for everything gone wrong and keeps preaching about smaller governments and constitutional freedoms.

AT best in the "about" section of his website, it seems as though he may have suffered a mild nervous breakdown and is now raising chickens in his backyard while preaching about "the end of days".

It also explains why the stammerer has absolutely no idea on how economics works.......he's taking this guys word as truth

meh. i am done arguing with him. I would think dealing with Dennis Kucinich for the last 30 years would give me more knowledge than him because, i have actually lived in or near the cities he has presided in and seen the affects of what he has done. But evidently since he lives in Antarctica he has more knowledge of kucinich than i do.

I give up after a while, it's like holding up a wall of mud.

Ok, so I'm in the middle of moving. I fucking hate moving. But I'm doing this at a slow pace, basically just whatever I can do on my own with my little car, and just a little bit at a time. It's a pain in the ass, for several reasons:
1. It puts me a bit behind on my school work. I have papers to...

I hate doing student conferences. They make my butt hurt, they give me a headache, and I often doubt they do much good. I'm of a mixed mind on the whole "General Studies" front. On the one hand, I have such a wide variety of interests that I was sad when I had finished my generals. I loved taking history, sociology, and literature at the...

Ok, here's the deal. Tomorrow I am going to see if I am moving. I have a chance to live rent-free for awhile (which would kick ass, money-wise). It would be as a sort-of caretaker (read: mowing the lawn, scooping the snow, keeping the place clean, and being there when repair-persons show up). For the first few months (until about May) there would be 2...

Ok, time for something lighter smile Thanks again to all who commented.

This sunday, I start my first week of being captain of a pool team. I was rather surprised that I volunteered, as I am usually the guy who just likes to let others make the unimportant decisions on things like this. Anyway, the job gets broken down like this:

1: Recieve paperwork each week...

Thank you to everyone who commented on my previous blog. Father Smutny was quite a special man, and touched many many lives. I attended his wake service last night. The church was packed.
