Yes, today was great. I wrote something last night and it has a soul. That alone makes me very happy.
But wait, there's more! I seriously had Best Day at Work Ever 2006 today. I was asked for a ridiculously quick turnaround on a very important project - one of my first chances to really either impress or let down management - and hell if I didn't kick ass. Yay number two.
Came home to find Fantastic New Shoes I ordered on line - bit of a risk not being able to try them on but they fit soooo well and are extremely comfortable. Jesus loves me.
Then I recieved a call from my sister-in-law and it was just such a good talk. I really miss my family and most of the time when we talk it's a bit off... can't put my finger on it exactly, but we're just losing touch sometimes it seems... but then other times, times like today, there's a conversation as if I was sitting having a beer with them. Everything is natural and good.
Immediately thereafter I recieved a call from my Condo Builder Rep who heard that I wanna sell, and she's offered to help! Like holy wowaroonie that's some good news - I really don't wanna hold onto my condo-in-another-country but the thought of forking over 10 grand to a realtor for the second time in 2 years is not something I wanna do and I think this is maybe the answer.
Then I found a bunch of unpaid invoices from a client dating back to january?!? That means my big huge rant from yesterday, the part about the money, is largely taken care of. Not entirely, but now it's managable at least.
