It's been a good day! Applying for some really cool sounding jobs, got the kiddo some new winter clothes and about to take her to dinner. Thanking the universe for making me such a lucky mom! Now if only I could just land some interviews and actually obtain employment... THAT would be great!

my daughter use to do that too, we had to put time aside each night that was "homework" time, this way she always new that at 6:30 was homework time and for 1/2 hour she would need to do it. If she did not have any she was to read. hope that helps...

quite profound musings indeed. my friend just moved up to portland and i will probably end up doing the same in a year when i'm finally finished with school for the rest of my damn life. i love the outdoors and enjoyed my visit there a few years back for a tournament. but until then it's the bay area for me.

funny how 'laid' can be at different ends of the awesome spectrum.
