Tonight I'm just doing the press thing. I gotta make a press release about the band and send it out to newspapers, zines, and happy people that live in the areas we have shows confirmed. Hopefully a few weeks lead time is all they need.
It's very weird. I've never hustled publications like I do now. Oh well. Alot of them seem very close minded to different genres of music but I'm going to angle the press release to mention that genre is incorporated into it. I know it's not truthfully but seriously rock and roll has elements of everything in it. And if somebody can say nirvana plays Raggae, then somebody can say Stressbomb plays metal.
Also let it be noted that GOOGLE MAPS with the "Street View" option is a great way to see the shit neighborhoods most american rock clubs are located in.
