My back is killing me! All weekend! Shit fuckin sucks! So... fun fact: (!!!)
I have ridiculously terrible back problems! Lol
It started when I was 15 literally out of nowhere my lower back just started aching and killing me allll theee time. Like what the hell happens to a 15 year old to where it hurts that bad? I went to the doctor and he keeps telling me it’s nothing and I need to exercise more. I’m like uh hmm well ok dude thing is literally anything I dude freaking hurts it! “Walk more.” Okay that’s one of the things, sir. So as time passes and this jackass continues to tell me it’s ‘stress’ (his favorite answer for everything) what the fuck kind of stress does a 15 year old have to where her back is in so much pain she’s on the verge of tears on ocassion and having to sometimes skip school? Like excuse you. So, time goes on and it gets worse of course and soon it’s my entire back that’s aching and on fire constantly not just the lower portion.
So, when I’m about 17 I’m like fuck this shit, this hurts, I’m like kicking it in school I’m like nah I’m out this bitch I ain’t sitting here like this. I drove myself to the emergency room and gave them the whole little schpiel and was like ‘Ow’ so they finally got a doctor to see me. Coincidentally, the father of a girl I had gone to high school with previously. So dude checks out my back and in five minutes, or less, is like oh yea you can see clearly there is a muscle issue here. You have lumbar myalgia and gives me the whole run down. Basically it’s actually kind of common in women because the way we naturally walk and operate due to our hips and what not. Soooo there’s no cure! Hazzah! Only time will tell! Good luck and stretch that bitch out!
I dealt with it for two years after that which during I tried physical therapy, yoga, stretching, nothing worked honestly. It slowly but surely just got worse and eventually my neck started hurting as well. It was just a whole big thing where my back hurt top to bottom. When I was 19 I decided to try out a chiropractor since I was making a little bit of money. I was so fucked up I was going three times a week for the first couple months and slowly dwindled down to two then once a week. After about a year I had made about 80% improvement in the movement of my bodies and what I was capable of doing! It was dope I honestly did feel a lot better over time and noticed myself becoming more physically capable. I truly had a difficult time for those first four years with just about anything. I’m talkin I felt pain if I was sitting, walking, running, using stairs, exercising, laying down, twisting, bending, standing literally any movement at all lmao. So you could understand my excitement when I had made 80% Improvement and was able to do more.
Then, not even two weeks after that evaluation, three days after my 20th birthday I was on my way to one of my classes at community college down the street from my house and not even a few seconds after I had pressed on the gas to go at the change to a green light some guy comes rushing through his red light and completely totals my car. We made eye contact, we were both driving Ford Explorers, we smashed it was bad. Long story short I yelled at him a lot, he never stepped foot out of his vehicle, he admitted to the police he wasn’t paying attention and was at fault, thankfully, but there was also witnesses.
Ended up going to the ER of course and it was hell from then haha. Constant trips to the doctor, X-rays, MRIs, physical therapy.. turns out I of course got whiplash from the accident and discovered I have a herniated disc, some nerve damage, a few pinched ones. I live a fun life lol. I’m quite honestly in pain every day typically my whole spine top to bottom lol. My muscles, my joints, my nerves, idek anymore!! Ahh it sucks but we live with it and I try a lot of different things but nothing seems to work. I don’t like taking pain killers, I usually just smoke weed. I try to stretch, I use heat and a foam roller. I try to work out a bit but I’m obviously very limited. I get massages and that seems to help. I’ve tried acupuncture and should probably go back again soon. I try a little bit of everything but generally am stuck in this endless cycle of pain lol. Yay me! 💚
We power through though hehe. Much love! 😋✨
