I'm working on the Cadillac. Got the summer road-trip itch early. Philly to Vegas to Seattle and back. Gotta do it. It will take a month and 1,000 gallons of gas, a tent, a few crazed friends (see "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas") and a National Parks pass.

I wanted to pop in and say that I'd really love your thoughts on my latest journal entry, it's really worth a giggle or two............I think feelings are a blessing. To be deep and passionate and real, we are going to be really serious sometimes. It's good. In this crazed world, it's quite natural to get really serious. For me, the medicine for too much serousness is laughing at myself. I LOVE to make fun of me ;-) a drink or two can help also, as well as a toke, a nice walk in nature, and of course. lots and lots of hugs (I love resisting hugs from friends when I'm mad,and then they hold me while I squirm until I quit resisting and melt into to the sweet bliss of being held)....breating deeply helps, screaming (although last tiem you did that, I heard you all the way out here! :-)......take care, sweet one. We dig you, no matter what. Serious or playful, you are really great!

She actually thougght it was cute as hell, but also didn't let me forget it, even years after we'd broken up (I have this odd habit of staying really good friends with most of my ex's for some reason, odd.).

It's always fun to go to the game. There were a couple of 16-year-old girls in front of me squealing at all the young cute players during practice and then calling their friends on their cell phones to say "Vrbata looked at me!"
I want me some Skoula. He's a hottie. But all the guys around me utterly hated him, it was kind of funny. I kept pointing out everything he did right, and they kept pointing out everything he did wrong.
You have got to come to this side of the atlantic and go to some games. It's a rush, even if they do play badly.
I just noticed that this sort of relates to your journal entry, since I was defending my beliefs in the face of opposition (that Skoula is a worthwhile contributor to the team. more so than Derek Morris).

Cool to see a beatufiul British hockey fan! Hope you can get to a game sometime. (I propose becoming a Flames fan, because 1)we're due to have a winning season sometime, and 2)it's easy to get tickets. )

No no, it's quite good. I think you should visit Germany or Austria some day for a while to get a feeling for the language and for the grammar and then you'll be perfect. Until then I'd be glad to be your teacher.
