I have like FOUR pages of Bookmarks still to get to, but really want to go out and live my life and stuff on this Saturday morning that's rapidly becoming afternoon, so I will write to many of you later and write a real Journal that will include:
-the US won BRONZE in men's curling!!
-the somewhat haggered-ass figure skating long program night
-last night... Read More
ok sorry i'm still stuck on this. mind giving me those little uh, shit i can't think of the words. the text that turns the pointer into a finger and takes me to the little comments you're referencing?
I should thank relevantswitch a bit more, I dunno, better than I did before, as he did a lot to help me car-shop... in fact, in the spirit of all the stuff I've been mailing people, I think I have something here he might like. (It's something that'll bother silvereve, but not too much, and it's not a Aqua Teen DVD although it's related... Read More
Any time anyone mentions car shopping, I automatically think of Johnny Olson from the Price is Right saying..."A NEW CAR!!". Cracks me right up every damn time, too.
Bring your computer down here any time (other than this weekend) and I'll be happy to take a look at it for you. I'm sure I can get you back on the right track with a few hours of poking around on it.
Updating to say- there's no real update. I'm just in the processes of car-buying, something I've never done before, so I'm reading up on car models and car buying processes, terminology, bullcrap.... I'm also gonna talk to relevantswitch about the car sell biz, since he knows it well.
You might already know I'm planning a cross-country move, and that I'm unemployed,... Read More
I'm in need of updating, but wow THREE pages of Bookmarks? I don't have much time, so I will give you bullet points.
Hafu- good hanging out... we said that already, right?
verifythis- I loved the food. Not too oniony! (You can put that slogan on your restaurant door, if you want.)
GoatsGotoHell- No problem; I left the Virgil's in the fridge... Read More
Well, there were a lot of other things it could have been...I don't know what it says about me that the first thing to come to mind was narcotic addiction!
I should've mentioned a month ago, but the guy who claimed to be Mr. Time Travel on the web (if you've seen his stuff, you know who I mean) said there "was" a revolution in America in 2005. I'd like to point out that he is a liar liar liar, there "was no" revolution in America, people are as "politically apathetic and impotent" as they've... Read More
DO THIS - Give me your fave mp3 sites, preferably those of bands/ players themselves or indie labels. Music-laden blogs are good too. Just basically any site where 1) there's mp3s, 2) I don't have to pay or register or log in or garbage like that, 3) I'm on dial and have no fancy FTP software or anything, so keep that in mind. If I... Read More
I am feeling much better today. Thanks for the good wishes. I am pretty sure you have my number and you are free to send me yours. I like to leave silly messages and am pretty good at being wacky (just ask goatsgotohell). He thinks I am ready for the white jacket sometimes.
You'll have to tell me a time/date you can meet up, so I can plan transportation accordingly. Mom likes to visit grandma on the weekends, so I'm not sure what time a car/ride from mom would be available. Shame on Ride On for not having weekend service on the closest bus route. :-/
A reminder- this is a good time of the year to annoy people by saying "FEB-yoo-ary," or better yet "FEB-uh-ary."

edit- I know this is even dumber than the last entry. Also, er leads me to add that I'm not telling off anyone for their pronunciation (well, not of this... Read More
I can prove now that I'm not one of those types who likes things just because they are weird. Not that anyone's accused me of that- yet. But anyway, I can prove otherwise.
I was taping one of my faves, Tom Goes to the Mayor, and finally sat down and watched Perfect Hair Forever (a Pavement reference? I'm not sure) and 12 oz. Mouse... Read More
I've felt really spaced and crummy, but I know why- the more serious concerns and questions of moving cross-country, being unemployed, and such are making themselves felt in the form of anxiety. Nothing unexpected; I knew it would happen, I was just wondering when. My mom has mentioned I prob need a new car, on top of things, and she's prob right.
I'm not pleased... Read More
